DNA Witness™ 2.5
DNAWitness 2.5 is a presumptive forensic tool which will assist law enforcement in the determination of genetic heritage from DNA samples obtained from crime scenes. The results of this test will narrow the potential suspect pool to a more focused group of likely candidates. The test enables law enforcement agencies to reduce both the cost and time needed to apprehend suspects.

DNAWitness 2.5 will provide the percentage of genetic make up among four possible groups as follows:

Sub-Saharan African
Native American
East Asian
European

When appropriate, DNAWitness 2.5 allows for a breakdown of the European ancestry into four components:

Northwestern European
Southeastern European
Middle Eastern
South Asian

The results will be expressed as percentages and this is useful for inferring certain elements of physical appearance. To date, DNAWitness 2.5 has been used by DNAPrint™ genomics in over 90 criminal investigations. The validation results are available on CD-ROM by request.

RETINOME™
RETINOME™ is a presumptive forensic tool that provides a dramatic improvement in the accuracy of a physical portrait of a suspect based on a DNA sample from a crime scene or remains of an individual. RETINOME allows us to infer eye (iris) color from DNA.
